WORK FOR HUMANKIND
An AI driven avatar was created in the image of the online persona of the protagonist, and educated to reflect their online, social media persona. First the protagonist was invited to hold a conversation with their digital self, then a close family member was invited for a one on one with the avatar.
The unscripted conversations that followed were breathtaking in their clarity and in their ability to push into difficult topics without any of the stigmas and emotional blockages of an IRL interaction.
Working with director Ismail Shallis, Picture Farm managed all pre, shoot and post production. Casting was conducted in the UK, Japan and US. The set was built and shot in London with post production at PF HQ in Brooklyn.
