A Proactive Approach to Content Development
Looking at entertainment and content in an innovative and evolving storytelling landscape, PF is continually creating new properties and projects across multiple channels and partnerships.
Picture Farm EPs Dion Sapp and Ben Freedman partnered with our dear friend, the late Michael K Williams to produce and edit the second season of Vice’s Black Market with Michael K Williams.
Picture Farm has been developing and producing long form content for many years, collecting accolades, awards and laurels including multiple Sundance Film Festival awards for Dark Days (2000) and Fishing Without Nets (2014).
Picture Farm has also garnered multiple advertising industry awards for built-to-purpose episodic and documentary projects, including an Emmy award and Clios for a collaboration across three short form marketing pieces for ESPN’s World Cup coverage, which also included dozens of online content piece and an 8 film sort-form documentary series.
Picture Farm also won Clio Gold and multiple Addy Golds for an 8 short-doc film series about high school football for Russell Athletic.
We’ve also been fortunate enough to receive plenty of attention from the Vimeo staff, having won the 2019 Vimeo Staff Pick of the Year for the animated film Albatross Soup, while also picking up accolades from the Webby’s, with nominations for the documentary series about the collaboration between Sweetgreen and Michelin-rated chef, Dan Barber, as well as an art-film short montage series for Nike about street soccer in Central and South America and a documentary collaboration with WeTransfer about artist, activist, and ex-prisoner Fulton Leroy Washington, who taught himself to paint during his 20-year incarceration.
Picture Farm continues to develop and produce content across all channels, and is currently in development and pre-production with various serial and long-form properties as we continue to honor Michael K. Williams’ legacy by creating meaningful, important and entertaining content.
